Gerber LMF II Infantry Black 22-01629

About This Knife

Details

  • Drop point blade for strength and control
  • Electrically insulated knife handle to prevent electrical shock
  • Wear resistant, 420HC Black Stainless steel blade

The inspiration behind the creation of LMF II was the idea of a military man alone behind enemy lines with no one to rely on but himself. The engineering of this fearless 10" survival knife was led by a former military man named Jeff Freeman and the end product was tested in the field by actual military men.

Just like the men and women who use this knife, the LMF II is very versatile. It can be used to cut through a seatbelt or through the central body of an airplane. It can even get through a chopper's Plexiglas. As a survival knife, the LMF II can chop firewood, be used in creating a shelter, and be converted to a spear (tied to a pole).

The LMF II infantry knife has lashing holes so it can be attached to a pole and used as a spear. It is a rugged, adaptable survival tool that comes with two leg straps and a sheath.
