Gerber 22-01121 - Prodigy Serrated Survival Knife

About This Knife

Features

  • MOLLE compatible sheath
  • Leg Strap Included
  • Secure Grip In All Conditions
  • Full Tang, U.S. 420HC Stainless Steel Blade
  • Black oxide-coated blade to resist rust and reduce light reflection

The Prodigy's creation was inspired by the famous LMF II, a knife that was also designed by Jeff Freeman. Though it is smaller than its predecessor, it is equally as tough. The beefy blade is full tang, made of U.S. 420HC Stainless Steel. It has a black oxide finish ensuring that the blade is glare-free and rust-resistant.

The Prodigy's overmolded rubber handle has a well thought out design; it provides a comfortable yet secure grip in both favorable and unfavorable conditions. The knife comes with a MOLLE compatible sheath made of ballistic nylon. It has a noise-dampening soft grip coating that aids in maintaining stealth when removing the knife. The sheath also has a friction-release thumb lock to ensure that the knife remains secure at all times. A leg strap along with 2 attachment straps is also included. Both the Prodigy and its sheath are MIRS compliant.
